OTIS Fact Sheets

The Teratology Society works with the Organization of Teratology Information Specialists (OTIS) to respond to public inquiries about exposures of concern.

To educate the public, OTIS compiled Fact Sheets which answer frequently asked questions about exposures during pregnancy and lactation. Currently available Fact Sheets are listed by category of exposure. All medications are listed by generic name. The generic name can be found on your prescription or medication packaging listed as the Active Ingredient, or in parentheses after the medication’s brand name.

The Organization of Teratology Information Specialists (OTIS) provides current information about these exposures during pregnancy or breastfeeding in an easily readable/printable format for patients and health care providers.
