Unites States Citizens
Puerto Rico is a Commonwealth of the United States; therefore no passports or visas are required for U.S. citizens, who may travel freely in and out of the island without going through customs.

Non U.S. Citizens
Please visit www.travel.state.gov for current information about requested documentation for travel to Puerto Rico. Citizens of some countries will require a visa. Citizens of the 27 Visa Waiver Program countries may require only a machine-readable passport (if certain requirements listed on the above Web site are met).

Airport
Luis Munoz Marin (SJU) International Airport is located just outside of San Juan and is approximately 20 miles from the Wyndham Rio Mar. Most U.S. and many international airlines offer direct flights to Puerto Rico. SJU is one of the largest airports in the Caribbean.

Ground Transportation
The Teratology Society recommends scheduling a round trip shuttle to the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort if you do not plan to rent a car. The Teratology Society has secured a discounted round trip shuttle fee of $55; you must let the shuttle service know you are with the Teratology Society Annual Meeting. The shuttle service will be billed to your hotel room. Arrangements must be made in advance, at least thirty-six hours prior to your arrival/departure, on-line or by contacting the hotel concierge at (787) 888-6000. Please schedule to leave the Wyndham Rio Mar three hours before your flight time. One-way taxi service from the airport to the Wyndham Rio Mar is $85–$100. All prices are subject to change.

Wyndham Rio Mar Resort Shuttle Instructions
Upon your arrival at the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU), please proceed to the baggage claim area. Upon arriving at baggage claim, representatives from Dragonfly Adventures will be holding a sign that will read Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort (pre-paid). They will direct you to the correct baggage claim belt and will escort you to the waiting shuttle for your transfer to the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort.

Once you have checked in at the resort, you can easily go over to the Concierge Desk which is located right across the way and confirm your departure transportation. There, you will be given the recommended time of departure from the resort (which is 3 hours prior) and you will also receive a voucher to board the transportation. Our shuttles do depart every hour on the ½ hour starting at 5:30 AM.

Hotel Parking
The Wyndham Rio Mar Resort offers both self parking and valet parking. Self parking is offered at $15 per day and valet parking is $20 per day
