Summary report of FASEB public affairs activities for the final quarter of 2006

Attached is a summary report of FASEB public affairs activities for the final quarter of 2006. Increased funding for research will be a major priority for FASEB in 2007.  As the new congressional leadership takes over, FASEB will be calling on the members of FASEB societies to contact their elected representatives in support of additional funding for NIH.  In early January there may be one last opportunity to influence the FY 2007 funding legislation.
