October 25–28, 2010 Course Director: Kok Wah Hew, Ph.D., DABT, Takeda Global R&D Center This course is designed to provide a basic training in reproductive and developmental toxicology. Participants will obtain an overall understanding in reproductive and developmental biology, the principles of various testing approaches for reproductive and developmental toxicology, with strong emphasis on the practical application of these principles and interpretation of nonclinical safety data. Who will benefit from this course?
For those in category (1) above, the course will provide a broad basic and useful knowledge to help design and/or interpret reproductive and developmental toxicity studies. For those in category (2) above, the course will provide a useful review of the basic biology of development and present an overview of the molecular biology of development.
