The Teratology Society encourages students and postdoctoral fellows to submit an abstract for presentation during the Annual Meeting. Benefits of submitting an abstract and having it accepted for presentation are:
- All students and postdoctoral fellows who have their abstract accepted for presentation are eligible for a Travel Award of $500. (Award application is required)
- All accepted abstracts are published in the Society’s journal, Birth Defects Research. (Late-breaking abstracts are not published.)
- The top student and postdoctoral abstracts submitted for oral presentation will be assigned to the Student and Postdoctoral Platform session and will compete for the Wilson Presentation Awards.
- Presenting your work at the Annual Meeting provides an opportunity to interact with established scientists, researchers, and policy makers.
